Savage reads like an Old Testament prophet, trying to expose society's ills and sins acting as that hidden inner voice of both morality and factual truth warning us when we go off the rails, or cross inappropriate boundaries as a civilization.

This book is quite long but never the less is filled with important and factual information from page to page, which proves Savage's arguments correct, warning our country of impending disaster ahead of us.

I found the book a little hard to read because the author jumps around. He crams a lot in. I agree with most of what he has to say, but I don't think his delivery is an effective way to reach outside of his loyal radio fan base. Chapter 4 on the financial crisis was a particular disappointment. He makes an extraordinary accusation that key members of the Managed Hedge Fund Association engineered the 2008 financial market meltdown, enabled by the suspension of the uptick rule for short sales. It isn't a crazy claim. George Soros has made billions engineering currency raids in many countries. This topic is really important to get to the bottom of. Savage doesn't pull that off. If these accusations have any truth to them, the new Congress needs to take a hard look at the rules. The danger in creating a regulatory backlash against Wall Street is that the big players usually stand to benefit. They know how to pay to play to engineer regulations to their advantage and how to manipulate the system. That's what makes them rich. It will take extraordinary leadership and diligence to get it right. I wish I knew where that can come from. Certainly not the bipartisan group of bozos that gave us Fannie and Freddie.
Of Michael Savage's genius when it comes to the spoken or written word...accurate, defiant, courageous , passionate , but to the point.
Savage is one of the few educated and brave men in the western world , who dare tell it like it is.
What impressed me the most about the latest offering by Michael Savage is the seamless integration of current political headlines with the educational historical back-story that leads to the present... and a gentle sprinkling of Dr. Savage's personal experience growing up. The author provides just enough real-life references to his Father and the lessons he was taught about hard work and what is fair in life as he grew up in New York. Savage discusses the absolute beginning of communism and the early lives of Marx and Lenin. That of course is linked to Obama's relationships throughout his life. He discusses intricate details regarding the auto industry and the healthcare industry and of course relates that to the current crisis. Facts such as "GENERAL MOTORS HAS SOME 450.000 RETIREES. THAT'S MORE THAN THREE TIMES THE NUMBER OF ITS CURRENT FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES, TO WHOM GM PAYS PENSIONS AND FOR WHOM IT PROVIDES MEDICAL CARE. BY SOME ESTIMATES, MEDICAL COSTS FOR RETIREES ALONE ADD MORE THAN $1,500.00 TO THE AVERAGE COST OF EACH GM AUTOMOBILE." Obama's relationship with Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers are examined closely as well as famous quotes from world figures such as President Ronald Reagan who said "HOW DO YOU TELL A COMMUNIST? Michael is the most entertaining, informative, and dare I say trustworthy figure in the public space today. Although I'm admittedly an avid listener of Michael's talk show, I still learned things that I hadn't heard on his radio show within this book.

This book will make you laugh and maybe cry, but mostly it will make you want to vomit. The truth about politics is rarely pretty, and the information and documented research contained within this book are testament to that. But it is the truth that will set you free, and many of the Americans who blindly follow the mass media like pathetic sheep need to be set free from economic and political enslavement.

Don't just buy this book for yourself, buy it for everyone you know. Buy it for people you like, people you don't like, your friends, family, neighbors. Every hard-working America citizen needs to read this book before the November elections both of 2010 and 2012. The time has come to vote all of the bums out.
